Sir Lemon Squeezy, reporting in! What’s up, world? Nick has dipped out for the week due to his second job. Miss ya, man. We’ve enlisted the help of Dan Brown again this week. We kick off the show with chatter on the new nwrblnd track called “Abyss” that has become Dan project’s most played track. Then we discuss the rumor that Spotify could be buying Soundcloud for $1 billion. Not too much in the tech industry. Speaking of the tech industry, Samsung is in some major hot water with their Galaxy Note 7, which has been banned from airlines. We mention how Google is straight up chuckling while this whole debacle is going down. Sony has finally released their Playstation VR.
Bob Dylan was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize this past week. He’s a funny guy and hasn’t even returned any of the Nobel Peace Committees phone calls to officially accept it. Goofball. We then dive into The Weeknd’s second single “False Alarm” which is off of his upcoming album called Starboy. We watched the video before the podcast and were all blown away by the level of production. We then squeeze about some of the recent shows we attended including Touche Amore at Vaudeville Mews and Phantogram at Iowa State’s Memorial Union.
Of course, we have to mention that Waka Flocka’s show at Iowa State’s Memorial Union earlier last week got shut down due to the crowd getting too “rowdy”. Looks like the venue will not be hosting metal bands any time soon. We would be remiss if we did not make our plea out to RL Grime for his Halloween 2016 remix, too.
Thank you, thank you for all of your support. We’re just a bunch of lemon heads without you all. We’ll be back in a couple weeks with a milestone episode: number 50. See you then, kids.
